Project Scope

USAID has awarded the Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the provision of Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Services (PMES) to AiD Pvt. Ltd. Under the BPA, AiD Pvt. Ltd. has been awarded the Call Order/ Contract for third-party monitoring of three ongoing USAID activities:

  1. Merged Areas Governance Program (MAGP): is a technical assistance project being implemented by United Nation Development Program (UNDP) and aiming to transform the lives of the people of the Newly Merged Districts through peaceful integration with KP, the extension of civilian governance institutions, and socio-economic development.Β 
  2. FATA Economic Revitalization Program (FERP): is an initiative funded by USAID and also implemented by UNDP Pakistan. The project has been designed in view of the complex socio-economic, political and governance context of erstwhile FATA and delivers support to restore local markets, livelihoods, the source of non-farm production, market-oriented skill development, access to finance and market linkages.
  3. Livelihood and Food Security Activity (LFSA): is a four-year activity, executed by Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, with the aim to impact and improve livelihoods and food security of the targeted population through agriculture-led growth in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and the floods affected areas of Pakistan.Β 

Services

AiD Pvt. Ltd. is providing third-party monitoring services through site visits for a wide range of interventions implemented under the MAGP, FERP and LFSA. These monitoring services include quarterly site visits to the specific activities under each project. The site visits include validation of performance indicator data reported to USAID/ Pakistan by the implementing partners, direct observation of events or interventions in the field, verification of equipment and other products and services delivered and feedback from the beneficiaries and stakeholders. The findings are presented to USAID COR in a debrief meeting and in the form of quarterly monitoring reports. These services align with Component 1: Monitoring Support of the BPA.
