AiD Pvt. Ltd.’s overarching policy research vision includes sector-wide assessments and formulation of policy recommendations through research and development of climate change and DRR policies and action plans. This includes legislative processes, analysis of dominant trends and viewing social schemes that build resilience to disasters, especially those triggered by the impacts of change. Planning climate compatible social advancements at the regional, provincial, national and international levels with our major research domains emphasizing on areas including but not limited to education, consumer affairs, employment, health, labor, disaster management, law enforcement, human rights and international development. We continue to conduct studies and research on modern concepts, models and innovative methods of management in organizations and use framework analysis techniques to undertake socio-economic analysis for policy formulation, evaluation and implementation.
AiD has grown as one of the most reliable research and survey administration service provider. Our in-house team specializes in designing and developing research and survey methodologies, developing sampling techniques using latest and proven statistical methods, inducting and training qualified enumerators/ researchers, and implementing data collection processes with a particular focus on ethical standards. We have hands-on experience in using Computer Assisted Personalized Interviewing (CAPI) through its full spectrum including design of android-based enumeration software, data coding, field-based enumeration, real-time data processing, development of a centralized dashboard and computerized tabulation of data.
In all research and survey assignments under the environment and climate change portfolio, particular attention is given to robustness of the design and implementation processes, quality of enumeration teams and vigorous quality assurance.
Our holistic approach towards impact assessment formulates the framework, integrating the environmental values in decision making and policy formulation while considering the environmental and social impacts of the proposed planning and development projects.
