Thus far, seven waves of the FII survey have been conducted in Pakistan – rebranded as the Karandaaz Financial Inclusion Survey (K-FIS) during the previous wave. The K-FIS survey is designed to measure financial inclusion related outcomes in a consistent and harmonized manner for stock taking and tracking of progress.
Services
Associates in Development has been hired by Karandaaz as a Survey firm for the K-FIS II financial inclusion survey. The survey is being conducted across Pakistan, with 6,624 households sampled from 414 clusters. The survey is using the Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) approach to collect data.Β
The K-FIS II is aimed at measuring and tracking awareness and use of banks, non-bank financial institutions, and digital financial services (DFS) across the population and among specific consumer segments, such as poor adults and rural women. The survey will provide national- and provincial-level measurements of key indicators and provide data to inform the development and adoption of new products and services.Β
AiD is primarily responsible for enumerator recruitment, training, pilot data collection, survey data collection and quality assurance.
