Project Scope

The evaluation focused on assessing the relative efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability of KPP interventions as implemented by four RSPs (NRSP, PRSP & the BRSP) on the one hand and the respective local governments on the other. The assessment focused on whether the RSP deliveries style of participatory decision making, demand-driven project menu and cost sharing with community creates a large and more traditional approaches / mechanisms.

The study focused on the comparative assessment of the effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of the physical infrastructure program implemented through two distinct approaches in the four provinces of Pakistan. The evaluation involved assessment of the PRSP/NRSP program implementation versus the public sector (LGRD) implementation of the Khushal Pakistan Program. Team included researchers with relevant experience in technical areas and community development.
