Narrative description of Project:
The study included reducing poverty, improving livelihoods, arrest environmental and resource degradation, and facilitating the economic and political issues of Pakistan.
The Technical Assistance covered following three areas;
- Sustainable Technology- improvements in sustainable resource productivity, and small- scale infrastructure largely for communication and irrigation
- Community Organization- expanded and more inclusive decision making and conflict resolution methods for attaining common needs, including improved services, access to better markets, credit, and institutional resources in the context of changing local government responsibilities
- Employment and Income- providing opportunity to generate income in farm and non-farm employment through training and skills development for landowners, tenants, workers, women, the young and the unemployed.
