The project aims at improving the drinking water service delivery in the following areas of Abbottabad City and surrounding localities through rehabilitation, augmentation and improvement of various components of the existing systems:
- Rural/Suburban Area
- Mian De Seri
- Banda Dilazak
- Sheikhulbandi
- Banda Ghazan
- Lama Maira
- Jhangi and Surrounding areas
- Derawand
- Dobather Banda Amlok
- Banda
- Phagwarian/Banda
- Batang
- Narrian Sheikhulbandi
- Choonakari (Neelor)
- PHE Residential Colony Mandian
- Banda Sinjlian (Adjacent to Malik Pura)
- Mirpur
- Salhad
- Municipal Committee Area Abbottabad
- Town Committee Nawanshehr
All of the above areas have somehow existing drinking water supply systems. The major portion of the project areas are Abbottabad City and Nawan Shehr, where the existing systems are managed by MC Abbottabad and TC Nawan Shehr respectively.
Description of actual services provided in the assignment:
- Conducting necessary field visits, topographic surveys
- Detailed water supply and sanitation schemes designs
- Preparation of PC-I/Cost estimates
- Preparation of bidding documents and technical support during evaluation
- Construction supervision and contract monitoring with reference to client brief and approved engineering designs
- Verification of contractor bills, work schedule etc.
- Submission of progress reports/Completion reports
