Narrative description of Project:

AiD assisted Daira in data collection for the city baseline survey for the Urban Resilience Fund (URF) of the Asian Development Bank. This research included a household and city level baseline survey for each of the selected program cities.

Description of actual services provided in the assignment:

The URF was implemented in five cities of Pakistan; Sahiwal and Sialkot (Punjab) and Peshawar, Abbottabad and Mardan (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa). The baseline study comprised of two components: 1) City Resilience Profile – which was administered with government officials (including local councils and urban units) of the five cities; 2) Community Resilience: 500 household were surveyed in the targeted cities comprising of qualitative and quantitative questions. The baseline study aimed to collect data capturing resilience measurement findings.
