Project Scope
The primary objective of the assignment is to – in conjunction with key stakeholders (the FATA Development Authority and the KP Planning and Development [P&D] department) and development partners (ADB, USAID, and relevant World Bank ask teams) – develop a Geo-Referenced Local master Plan (GeLoMaP) that describes and geo references existing infrastructure and on-going as well as planned interventions along the corridor, in he vicinity of the corridor, and which otherwise support economic activity along the Peshawar Torkham Economic Corridor (PTEC) and its inkages with CPEC. The main types of activities that will be included in GeLoMaP include investments in transport infrastructure, industrial zones, trucking terminals, dry ports, large warehousing facilities and facilities related to border management in and around Torkham.
This master plan will help coordinated existing initiatives as well as identify priority hard infrastructure investments related to trade and economic development along the Peshawar Torkham Economic Corridor which could be supported by the PTEC project.

In conjunction with the World Bank task team, presented the objectives, thematic, geographic scope, structure and proposed outputs of the GeLoMaP activity to the stakeholders and partners to obtain their comments, suggestions and ultimate endorsement of the activity and commitment to assist with data collection and interpretation. In conjunction with existing stakeholders and partners, identified additional agencies and other partners managing or implementing investments that are appropriate for inclusion in the GeLoMaP and present the objectives, thematic and geographic scope, structure and proposed outputs of the activity to them to obtain their endorsement and commitment to assist with data collection and interpretation
