Project Scope

The project aims at improving the drinking water service delivery in the following areas of Abbottabad City and surrounding localities through rehabilitation, augmentation and improvement of various components of the existing systems:

i. Rural/Suburban Area

2. Banda Dilazak
3. Sheikhulbandi
4. Banda Ghazan
5. Lama Maira
6. Jhangi and Surrounding areas
7. Derawand
8. Dobather Banda Amlok
9. Banda Phagwarian/Banda Batang
10. Narrian Sheikhulbandi
11. Choonakari (Neelor)
12. PHE Residential Colony Mandian
13. Banda Sinjlian (Adjacent to Malik Pura)
14. Mirpur
15. Salhad

ii. Municipal Committee Area Abbottabad
iii. Town Committee Nawanshehr

All of the above areas have somehow existing drinking water supply systems. The major portion of the project areas are Abbottabad City and Nawan Shehr, where the existing systems are managed by MC Abbottabad and TC Nawan Shehr respectively.

Services

• Conducting necessary field visits, topographic surveys
• Detailed water supply and sanitation schemes designs
• Preparation of PC-I/Cost estimates
• Preparation of bidding documents and technical support during evaluation
• Construction supervision and contract monitoring with reference to client brief and approved engineering designs
• Verification of contractor bills, work schedule etc.
• Submission of progress reports/Completion reports
