The primary objective of the mini survey was to determine the fundamental causes of teachers’ absenteeism in the government primary and elementary schools in FATA. This assignment had two broad components: (1) Schools’ survey with: school authorities, parents and teachers; and (2) Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with parents and students and Key Informant Interviews with FATA Education Authorities.
