Production of Detailed Construction Drawings and Bill of Quantities based on Base Line Studies and predesigned Standard Classroom Units with Quantities and Engineer s Estimates

Design, production and printing of construction drawings, BoQs and specifications using client’s provided generic designs to t extend to possibly 1000 schools sites within the provinces of KP and Punjab based on Base Line Studies and predesigned Standard Classroom Units with Quantities and Engineer’s Estimates. The Project, funded by DFID, aims at implementing “Humqadam”: the brand name for the School Construction and Rehabilitation Programme (March 2014 – June 2018), to address deficiencies and development of educational infrastructure and rehabilitation of Government schools in the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.

Services

The services entailed in the scope of work include the following:
• Reviewing the Generic Designs prepared by the SCRP Design Team and certifying that generic designs comply with the applicable design standards and codes in Pakistan. Corrections to the generic design drawings are also included if required.
• Production of Generic Design drawings for each school including architectural, structural, plumbing, electrical and civil drawings, using the provided template drawings for the individual school, if applicable.
• Design drawings where Generic design is to be modified due to specific site conditions such as modification of foundations etc.
• Provide custom design of school classrooms where a generic design cannot be implemented.
• Printing, signing and stamping of drawings, Bar Bending Schedules, Bill of Quantities and specifications.
• Design of new toilet cubicles (one for disabled) in existing schools.
• Design of Septic Tank, Leach Pits, Water Tanks, Landscaping, Boundary Walls, any site development works, Required Support Facilities and any other structure if necessary.
