Project Scope and Services

This research was part of a larger Agent Network Accelerator (ANA) project funded by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. It was aimed at increasing global understanding of how to build and manage sustainable Cash In Cash Out (CICO) networks in poor communities. Micro Save, a Kenya based market research firm, commissioned AiD to administer and carry out the quantitative research component in Pakistan in two waves. In both waves, the survey was conducted in a nationally representative sample of 3,000 households.
