Project Scope
The project scope included providing design and construction supervision for Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF). The project was funded by the Committee for Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP) which is a US-based Philanthropic Organization. PPAF was assigned the overall management of the project and implementation partners including the Mountain and Glacier Protection Organization (MGPO), Community Uplift Program (CUP), and National Rural Support Programme (NRSP) were assigned responsibilities for construction through various private sector contractors. The facilities specific completion report confirmed that a total of 6 health and 10 education facilities have been completed. The education facilities included primary, middle, and high schools for girls and boys, while the health sector facilities covered several basic health units (BHUs) and rural health centers (RHCs).
