Project Scope
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Pakistan, KP/FATA Office, requires architect-engineer services for Independent Quality Assurance for the USAID Stabilization Program activities in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

  • Schools, Basic Health Units (BHUs) and Government Buildings
  • Roads and Bridges
  • Weirs, Small Dams and Irrigation Headwork's
  • Grid Stations and Transmission Lines
  • Rehabilitation of Damaged Distribution System
  • Drinking Water Supply Schemes and Solarization of Tube Wells

Services
Core services include design vetting, third party monitoring of construction quality and progress for schools, BHUs, roads, small dams, rehabilitation of COTR/USAID for emerging tasks, conducting necessary field visits, topographic surveys, power lines, new grid station and other items mentioned in the scope; Additional key services included payment certification against pre-agreed  milestones, a review and approval of design, costing, PC-I approvals and technical assistance to surveys (providing as-built situation with all utilities and relevant information), Geo-technical investigations and tests. Also, detailed designing and supervision of water sanitation & hygiene (wash) component.
