The project scope includes architectural and engineering technical services to USAID Pakistan for a country wide program in the sectors of transportation, vertical structure, water control infrastructure, water and sanitation services, energy and power. Services also include demand driven capacity building and organizational development support to multiple USAID partners in public and private sectors.
Spread over five years, the program covers all four provinces, Azad Jammu and
Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan (GB) and FATA. This is a multiple indefinite quantity contract with a shared overall ceiling price of USD 120 Million. Under this activity, AiD assists NESPAK as the designated sub-contractor.
As the designated sub-contractor for NESPAK, core services by AiD include:
Planning Activities: These services include engineering support and technical assistance for conceptualizing preliminary analysis, pre feasibility and feasibility studies.
Design Activities: This part of the assigned tasks include detailed engineering designs, plans and cost estimates for assigned projects and activities
Technical Support and Oversight: This part of the services include construction supervision, monitoring & evaluation assignments
